About Calleo

Calleo is my personal rock journal.

My name is Luis, and this is where I write about the bands, albums, songs, and sounds that stayed with me.

I mostly focus on rock from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s, including classic rock, hard rock, prog rock, punk, metal, hair metal, grunge, alternative rock, and the kind of guitar driven music that still feels alive years later.

I do not want this blog to feel like a cold music encyclopedia. I want it to feel personal. More like a journal from someone who still cares about albums, deep cuts, guitar tones, opening tracks, old records, loud choruses, and songs that somehow follow you through life.

Sometimes I write about a band I love. Sometimes I write about an album that took me years to understand. Sometimes I write about songs I would recommend to a new fan. The point is not to tell everyone what they have to like. The point is to share how I hear the music and why it still matters to me.

Calleo is for rock fans who still believe music is more than background noise.

It is for people who still listen closely.

It is for people who still care about the feeling of a great song.
